1. Who is Sports Education Development India Ltd (SEDIL)?
SEDIL is committed to providing high quality sports education programs across India.  Established as a joint partnership between education specialists Podar Enterprise and the Kohinoor Group, SEDIL can draw on over 150 years of education experience.  As its first entry into the sports education field, SEDIL have secured the exclusive rights to the Cricket Education Program for India.

2. Who is Cricket India Academy?
Cricket India Academy is the cricket division of SEDIL and is responsible for the day to day management of all cricket activities.

3. Will there be coaches from Cricket Australia?
Cricket Education Program coaches are identified and recruited by Cricket India Academy Coach Director and former Indian international cricketer, Pravin Amre. Coach Educators from Cricket Australia conduct the Coach Induction Program for Cricket Education Program coaches. The coaches then train the participants according to the Cricket Education Program syllabus. Cricket Australia also trains Coach Assessors to monitor coach performance and provide ongoing training. The international accreditation of all Cricket Education Program coaches is underwritten by Cricket Australia.

4. What is Brett Lee’s involvement?
Australian pace bowler Brett Lee has been involved in Cricket Education Program since its inception and lends his skills, experiences, support and coaching tips as Cricket Education Program Ambassador.

Top order batsman Mike Hussey and exciting women's cricketer Ellyse Perry also lend their expertise and guidance as Cricket Education Program Role Models.

5. How often will sessions be conducted?
Cricket India Academy programs consist of practical skill development training and knowledge development. Sessions are scheduled according to the needs of host venues to ensure an effective learning environment is achieved.

6. Is transportation provided?
Cricket India Academy will work with the venue to schedule sessions at the most convenient time. Transportation is not inclusive in the program, but we will work to find the most effective solution for all participants.

10. Will enrollment to Cricket India Academy programs increase the opportunity for my child to represent the school or club team?
Naturally, we cannot guarantee selection into any team. We will however, provide your child with an opportunity to learn and develop their cricketing ability in a personalized, focused and thorough way. This will improve their base knowledge, understanding and skill performance which in turn will enhance the opportunity of representing their school or club team.

11. How will the Cricket India Academy programs benefit someone who is already in the school team?
Your child may already be in the School team, but that doesn’t mean make him an expert! Cricket India Academy’s coaching creates an environment to further your child’s development and build upon his current performance level. The enhanced learning through Cricket India Academy programs could be the catalyst for your child to reach even greater heights!

12. How will Cricket India Academy programs compliment my child’s academic education?
Sessions are conducted outside school hours to not impact class time. Current research supports the hypothesis that physically active children perform better academically (Active Living Research, San Diego University USA, 2007) and that increased sport performance correlates to increased academic performance (Department of Sport & Recreation, Western Australia, 2008).

13. Can my child join Cricket India Academy programs at any age?
Cricket India Academy offers age specific cricket development programs.

5 – 8 year old children can enroll in Cricket Kids Program. This program provides a fun and interactive introduction to cricket using modified game play and age relevant activities. It is the perfect way to teach the basics of modern cricket and develop interest and enthusiasm.  

Cricket Education Program is an aged based, 6 Level program for 9 – 14 years boys and girls. The child can enter the program at any Level however, since Level 5 and Level 6 are specialization levels, a child must have successfully completed the preceding level to qualify for enrolment.

Senior training is offered to older children (14 years and above). This training program’s highlights are focused skill development, high performance focus and tournament preparation.
